Silver Falls

Up and off to Silver Falls today.  We picked up Ruben's buddy Bradon and grabbed some sandwiches at Winco.  The drive was totally beautiful. Rolling hills ripe with wheat, farmhouses, horses, blue skies.  When we get hot in the convertible with the top down we use a spray bottle to mist ourselves.  Its delightful.

We went first to the south fall, then we went to the farther south fall.  We walked about 2.5 miles total.  Then I took the boys to the swimming area.  Ruben wasn't impressed.  He said the rocks hurt his feet and there was green slime and it was shallow.  Didn't stop him from swimming though. Ruben and Bradon do really good together.  They don't fight a bit.  Mainly they talk about music and minecraft.

We subscribe to Spotify (an online music service) and Ru and I always take turns choosing songs. (it works with my bluetooth car stereo) Spotify has almost any song you can think of, and you can save them into playlists and listen offline.  Not that I'm pushing it, but we find it super cool.  We don't buy music anymore, we just spend 10 bucks a month and listen to anything we want.

We left Silver Falls Park in mid afternoon and after dropping off Bradon I hit the couch.  Ru went to ride his bike for a while and then I washed the car and worked on the bed.  I got my new bed cheap because it had some cat scratch damage.  I filled in the scratches with putty in preparation for sanding and refinishing this weekend.
