| Monday morning snuggles |
Monday morning we were sitting on the couch we were watching Man Vs Wild while eating our eggs and toast. I checked my Craigslist app and found there was a free Gustav Klimt print. I texted and they replied they would put it outside for me. So we jumped in the car and drove to Keizer. Sure enough there was the print, big, pretty and in perfect shape. Fortunately it fit in the car, but barely.

While we were in Keizer we went by Volcanoes stadium and bought tickets to Tuesday's baseball game. Since we were out and about I thought it might be a good chance to find a farm store so we could buy beans for canning. The ones at Winco weren't so good last time I was there. Sure enough I found the EZ Orchards farm store was just a few minutes away. When we got there I was surprised, the place was huge. It was more like a grocery store that served fresh pie, strawberry shortcake, and had two checkout lanes for all the people buying produce. I bought 6 lbs of green beans, broccoli, corn on the cob, blueberries, and cucumbers. $20 later we left well stocked with farm fresh goodness.
On the way out of the parking lot Ruben was already eating the blueberries. I asked him for a blueberry and reached my hand over the Klimt for one. He put a half eaten a blueberry in my hand. For some reason this struck me as funny and I laughed until I almost peed. Half the way back to South Salem we played this game where if I said something funny he would reward me with a berry or two. Finally I cracked him up and he gave me a handful, but by then I was full of blueberries.
We got the rest of the items needed for pickling at Winco and went home to get started. Ruben was a great helper, I snapped the ends off the beans and he cut them to the right length to go into the jars. That took a long time, but we were dancing to our favorite tunes and time seemed to fly by. The canning itself went quickly. We finished at 6:25 and drove quickly to the movie theater to see Fast and Furious 6.

Ru and I got the last two seats in the theater, fortunately we got seats in the very back and not the very front. For the next two hours we watched explosions, car chases, booty shaking, great fight scenes, and a few kisses. When we walked out Ruben didn't say anything for a minute, then he said "That was the best movie I ever saw" It was the first PG-13 movie I've taken him to.
So we got home and had a quick burrito and as we were finishing, and I was typing this, the electricity went out. It didn't come back on until midnight. The outage only affected my row of apartments, and I never found out what caused it.
When I woke up this morning I made blueberry pancakes. Its back to working on the bed today, at least until the baseball game.
