July 3 and 4

Unpacking, relaxing.

This mountain of laundry got washed, folded, and repacked. Ru is going to Grandma's for a few days, then to his dads. I'm headed to Reno. 

Forced to write thank you notes for his birthday presents.

I finally got my rain chain fountain working. It is delightful. Changes the whole quality of my patio. 

Cleaning spilled nail polish out of the carpet. Rats. 

Our 4th of July celebration was relaxed, we went to Cab's house for nachos and fireworks. Nothing is more American than nachos. ;)

Cab lives on a hill and has lots of neighbors with more money than sense, so the fireworks were awesome. Ru got a lighter and a 20 dollar kit from WalMart and had a good time igniting stuff. I enjoyed watching it all with a very good cider.
