Disney Tips

1. Stay across the street. The walk is short, and the rooms are fine.

2. Fly. OMG this was my first time not driving, and I will never do it again. We flew Southwest into Santa Ana airport and it was easy peasy.

3. Uber. Half the price of a cab. You don't have to drive.

4. Grocery delivery. We used Vons. I ordered milk, cereal, snacks, and lots of bottled water.

5. Photo pass. We got the one week pass which includes ALL the ride photos, professional shots, and a print of your character breakfast.

6. Disney app. It's amazing. Tells you wait times, show times, when your reservations are, links to your photo pass, and where to pee.

7. Lines app. Tells you what to ride and when. Tells you fast pass return times. Tells you single rider wait times. Let's you customize your plans.

8. Single rider. You can stand together in line, you don't talk on a coaster anyway.

9. The line on the left goes faster. This may not be true all the time, but for us it has been.

10. Earplugs. Even after years in bands the rides are too loud. The shows are too loud. Big Thunder Mountain lives up to it's name.

11. Single rider on Splash Mountain. They load groups into the front and put single riders in back. Ru and I never got wet. Now you know why on all the ride photos we are in the back.

12. When staking out your parade seat on the curb of Main Street, avoid sitting near sewer grates.
