We didn't make it to the park much before opening, but we were at the back of the rope drop surge to Space Mountain. We started off the day with a short wait and a fun ride.
Yesterday Ru and I discussed the plan of the day, we agreed to ride all the Disney mountains. We were off to a good start. We rode the much improved Finding Nemo sub ride, then hit the Matterhorn Bobsleds. I had Ru wait in Standby while I got fast passes. Because he was by himself they recruited him to single rider and by the time I got fast passes he was done riding. I looked at the time on the fast pass and it was for right then so we rode Matterhorn together.
We slowed down for Alice's Adventure in Wonderland and rode a stoned caterpillar around with a bunch of toddlers.
Ru wanted to do Indiana Jones but the line was long and we had a breakfast reservation during the fast pass return time. Instead we went over to the wildest ride in the wilderness and got a fast pass for... Right then. We did that twice. We would have gone a third time but people were starting catch on that fast passes meant they could skip the line and ride just then so we got went back to Indiana Jones, rode Jungle Cruise because we still had time and could walk on, got fast passes for 11am and made our 10am breakfast reservation at Plaza Inn.
We go our photo with Minnie, and dined with Pooh, Chip, Captain Hook, A mouse, a monkey, and Tigger. The omelet guy was good!
Testing the limit of my stomach and then riding Indie fortunately didn't end in disaster. It's just not my favorite ride though. It's short, even the fast pass line is long, and causes whiplash.
We went to Splash Mountain and got fast passes for 1:15. It still was just noon so we decided to ride single rider. Then we did it again. Then we used our fast passes and waited longer than we ever did in the single rider line.
Three trips down the chute, and we were still dry. They load the logs (which hold 6) with larger groups in front and couples and singles get put in back. I rode in back all three times.
We decided to take a break from sun and crowds and after s photo opportunity and a dash over to space mountain to get a fast pass for this evening we walked back to the hotel.
Oh yeah, we stopped at Gibson Girl and walked back eating ice cream floats.
After a break we went back to ride Space Mountain with the fast passes we grabbed earlier. Ru was queasy from the protein bar he ate without water, so we spent a few tense moments next to a garbage can and skipped the ride.
We watched a Star Wars movie trailer at the theater then went to Little Red Wagon and got corn dogs are chips. Nothing like greasy food to settle your stomach.
We rode Small World, then Big Thunder Mountain two more times. No wait.
We didn't close out the park tonight, we are still building up our stamina.
