Disney Day 5

Last day thoughts/gripes/jokes:

It seems like wherever we walk there are families of three (or more) that walk medium fast in front of us then stop suddenly like they dropped something or needed to think standing still. In the middle of the path. We started almost running into them...or slightly bumping into them.

That leads me to our biggest Disney annoyances, huge people in mobility scooters traveling slowly next to each other, or next to strollers built like tanks.

Babies and toddlers are so cute at the park till about noon. Then they are awful the rest of the day. My mom was right about waiting to take Ru till he was 7.

On most rides the announcer will say "supervise your children" and I give Ru an "I'm watching you" look, and he gives me a "who me?" look in return. Every time.

We rode the rides with photos so many times we started posing. Ru took this an extra step when he was single rider on Splash. He totally trolled his boat. I'll post all the ride photos soon.

I started annoying Ru with photos. We have photo pass so every time I saw a Disney photographer I asked to get a picture. Ru doesn't like posing (well it depends).

Okay... Back to today.

Today we got up early, we're second in line at the gate for magic morning (7-8am), and first in line for Star Tours. It was a different ride than last time which was fun. Next was Space Mountain, then a break for me to settle my stomach. Ru rode Batterhorn (the misspelling is intentional). Big Thunder was closed so we did Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, and then went shopping.

Yes Disney sells fanny packs. They are $26. No I didn't buy one. Yes I wore my ugly gray fanny pack all through the trip. No purse to carry, no heavy backpack, just big enough for phone, cash, and sunglasses.

I bought a hoodie. It's been a comfortable to hot temperature outside, and every time I go inside I freeze.

So I'm the woman at Disneyland with a hoodie and fanny pack when it's 83 degrees.

We had a lovely character breakfast at Storyteller Cafe. I got a bear hug from a bear. They made me gluten free Mickey waffles.

We went back to ride Big Thunder Mountain, and after a patriotic stop to see Mr. Lincoln we went back to the hotel. Just now Ru is practicing backflips in the pool while I type.

Update, two hours later he's still in the pool.

We hit Denny's for dinner and took a rest till 6:45pm. It was time to claim our parade seats. Our first pick was great till we noticed we were above a sewer vent. Our second choice had no curb but lots of room. The electrical parade was lovely, but not worth waiting two hours on a concrete sidewalk. I spent the hours planning our upcoming camping trip.

The fireworks we're terrific.
I walked out super sappy that it was our last night at Disney, vacation over, and overall sad my boy is so close to man. I told Ru how sad I was it was our last day and he replied that he was ready to leave yesterday.

Sigh.
I have a teenager.

This is un-Disney related stuff.
Funky Beats Initiative or FBI members all have agent names. I need some suggestions. I first looked at roller derby names for the puns, then online generators.
Email or text me any suggestions.

So far we have
Agent Orange
The Secret Weapon
T Dawg
Forgetaboutit
Agent Provocateur
And me.
