Today we woke up and packed up the tents. Not that we are leaving Dave's, but there is rain in the forecast. We are moving to the "Captain's Quarters" which is a covered platform with a queen sized bed sitting on it. We didn't want to have to pack up soaking wet tents and bedding when we left. After doing the watering, packing, and grabbing some food we headed to the lake to meet Mom. We were going to try the Brice Creek Trail. I tell people this is the most beautiful place in the world. Although there were a lot of trees down, there was a clear path, and we were able to walk quite a ways on the path.

When we got back to camp Jeff was waiting. We played a couple games of Mexican train dominoes, then Ru and I went back to Dave's to change for dinner. We had some coupons for dinner at the Village Green restaurant, and agreed to meet for 6:30pm. We all had a great dinner and dessert. Now it's time for me to go up to the Eugene airport and pick up Dave from the airport.
