After our morning chores, Ruben and I decided to take a bike ride on the Row River Trail. It's an old train track that had been paved over. We left Dave's and headed up the road, then onto the trail, then up toward Dorena dam. About halfway there we were stopped a the trail closure. So we went the other way, back down the hill. It was a fine ride, even if we didn't get to go by the lake. We came back to Dave's because our butts were so sore from the unaccustomed bike seats.
After lunch I totally geeked out on guitar for a few hours. I played in drop D tuning for the first time. Mom texted that she was coming to camp, and dropped by for a few minutes. Ru and I packed a bag and headed to the lake to join her.

Today was Billy Mays and Jenkins's birthday! We weren't home, but Cab and his kids bought them cat food, tuna, and treats. Jenkins wasn't very interested, but Billy Mays ate most of the can of food.
