Sailing, Hair, and Sailing - Updated

Monday after a leisurely morning of grocery shopping and packing we departed for Dorena. We sailed. We swam. We ate delicious sandwiches. We swung on the rope swing. Ru was amazed that I could do it. It was a blast.

Ru and I headed up to Jeremy's for the evening. Jer and I had planned to jam, but we didn't have the energy. After eating my favorite pizza at Mezza Luna (the Stinky Garden pizza) We watched Sharknado and ate ice cream and popcorn. Good times. We had so much fun mocking that movie! Jeremy and I turned in, but Ru stayed up watching Sharknado 2. He said it was just as good/bad.

We got up very late on Tuesday, and after eating the leftover pizza for breakfast I washed some of Jeremy's dishes in payment for all of the ice cream we ate. Then we went sailing.

Mom and Fred met us at the lake. The wind was perfect! Ru and I sailed back and forth across the lake flying hulls. Today he tried the harness for the first time.  Mom was out on her boat and she took some pictures that turned out fantastic!  Fred did some solo sailing and we hung on Mom's boat with her and did some swimming.

Tuesday night we came home because I had a hair appointment early Wednesday morning. We were packed for a whole week so it was kind of a bummer to have to come home so soon, but the lady who does my hair had an opening and that's rare.

Wednesday after the hairdo we hung out in Salem, I had a lot of deskwork to catch up on. Thursday we had intended to go sailing again, but I was under the weather and spent the entire day in bed. Ru and I watched several episodes of Sherlock. I also did some organizing of my desk, and did a few things for friends.
