Tuesday we woke up and asked Mom if she and Jeff would like to come out to the lake and hang out on the water with us, but Jeff said no, they had to do farm work. So we did the farm work.
First Ru and I used the trimmer to get the weeds down in the garden. Then we used the push mower to get around the edges of the yard. Lastly we washed all the cars and the truck. Fred mowed most of their property.
Then we went sailing.
Tuesday night Ru and I stayed at Jeremy's and played music. I'm learning how to play guitar along with his banjo playing. I'm terrible.
Wednesday we went sailing. Late in the evening we went back to Jeremy's house for more music (or if you are Ruben for video game time) and I brought a pizza.
Thursday we went out to Thai food and then went sailing. I broke a part of the tiller, but a friend will meet me on Monday to fix it up. We went back to Jeremy's to pack up and ended up staying till dark, then we drove home.
Friday. Ru left with Fred at 11am to go to his dad's house, and I stayed home and sewed my patchwork dress. I finished it and wore it over to Preston's house where we jammed on lots of different tunes. Preston really likes harmony and has an excellent voice. He told me he is looking for another player so we can sing in three parts. I got home late.
Summary: Most relaxing, fun, wet, sunshiny, happy week ever.
