Vacation Bible School

Even when we plan on having boring days, they rarely turn out that way.  Today Ru went to bible camp at Queen of Peace.  He seemed to have a good time, he was singing along when I went to get him.  He said he watched a corny video about a squirrel, and that he didn't get to go outside, but that was all he would say about it.  Guess it was pretty uneventful.

Afterwards we went to free lunch at Liberty Elementary School, and for a bike ride (he rode, I ran).  Later Ron called and we went downtown for $1 tacos at at the Reed Opera House in downtown Salem.  The tacos were great, and afterwards Ru and I spent an hour in a great junk shop.

Ron came over and we played guitar for hours.  (Ru hid the fart machine under his chair.) Ron recommended some artists I can't wait to listen to, and cover. It was fun to think about if I was to be in a band again what type of music I would want to play.

Signing in at Vacation Bible School.
