Friends

We left our housesitting position at moms house and cruised back to Salem early in the morning only to find I was 30 minutes and 1 month early for Ruben's dental appointment.  Making the best of the situation we came home and woke up our housesitter, and cooked him pancakes. 
Ron lives in New Mexico and happened to be in Salem visiting his daughter who was graduating from college.  We were hoping to have some time to jam, he is an awesome musician and a gifted artist.  He was leaving that afternoon for the big graduation ceremony but at least we got some chatting time in.

That afternoon we spent going through our camping supplies getting ready for our next adventure at the coast, Yurt camping.  Ruben read the list and checked it twice while I ran about like crazy looking for various items.  When the mountain of stuff we had to take was bigger than the car we were taking it in we decided to go get dinner.  We invited our friends Brett and Sarah and had delicious sushi at Momijis.
