Wedding and World Beat

Saturday the 25th was an incredibly fun day. I got up and did a chapter in my online class.
Okay,  that part wasn't fun. I'm taking 7 credits this summer from PSU online. The good part about that is it will bump me up the pay scale an extra 1400 a year. The classes are Advanced Behavior Management, and Why DI. Should be interesting. So I finished the third of eight tests.

I met up with my date Cab and we drove to St.Helens Oregon for my cousin's daughter's wedding. Megan Leach became Megan King. My uncles Don and Dean were there with their wives, and I got to catch up with my cousins Roger and Jeff.

Just FYI I don't claim that any of the photos on the blog are mine. About half the time I just snag other peoples photos off facebook. I don't like carrying my phone or camera around all the time.

After the wedding we drove to Portland to Pyramid Brewing and enjoyed garlic fries and cider on their patio. We arrived at happy hour... and we were happy indeed.

We cruised down to the Portland waterfront area, found a table, ordered drinks and waited.
And waited,
and waited,
and left. It was a lovely place to sit for a while.

World Beat

We wanted to catch the Cuban Salsa music at the World Beat Festival back home in Salem so we drove back down I-5 in time to catch the band. Then we went out to Chinese food. Exhausted. We shared a lot of laughs.
