Thursday: Ruben went to VBS, and I went to visit with my friend Judy. After I picked up Ru we went to our apartment, spent a bit watering and feeding Kitty, and headed back down the I-5. Ruben did his workbook on the trip, and we discovered a playlist on Spotify called Billboard top 100. We listened to the playlist all the way home, ranking the songs on a 1-10 scale. If either of us rated it above a 5 we listened to the entire song. It was fun to discover new music together. We both really liked Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke and Boys Round Here by Blake Sheldon. and we danced to Feel This Moment by Pitbull.
When we got back we worked around the house, I watered and Fred and Ru mowed. Then we picked Cherries and took the dog for a walk down Jackson Rd.

Friday we got up early again and the three of us drove to Salem. I dropped off Fred at the doctor, Ru at VBS and I went for a jog. I finished and picked up Fred and we made a plan for the day. After we got Ruben we went to eat sushi and then went to Riverfront Park. They were setting up for the Multicultural Festival and Fred wanted to see the stage he had volunteered to work. There are two stages, one is a big covered lit up stage and the other was... his. two mikes, two speakers. no mixer, no monitors. I could tell he was a little disappointed. Ru and I took Fred back to our apartment. He had to stay in Salem to watch our place and be ready to go do sound Saturday. I took Ru to his dads and went back to mom's where I watered stuff until it was too dark to water. I took some pictures of our finished projects. I like the red color of our shelf/table but its not very glossy. I might get a little more paint or a gloss top coat.

Saturday I woke up all alone (apart from some pets with separation issues) and had a great workout. I watered plants and then I called Jeremy and asked if he wanted to do some boating and he said YES. Jeff and Ruben wanted to come out too! So I packed the sunscreen and the cooler and drove top down and music blasting to the lake. Sadly Jeff's phone didn't work at the lake so while Jeremy, kids and I were out swimming Jeff and Ru were waiting at the dock with no way to contact me. That was very disappointing. After burning up a substantial amount of gas we docked and parted for our homes. I ate a solitary dinner of garlic ginger chicken, steamed baby carrots and green salad. Then back to the watering. Freddie sent me some great pictures of him in his ridiculous dew rag in front of all the bands he worked with today. He had a good time despite the heat. Fred is on his way out tonight to have a cigar and a beverage with his college buddy.
