Ruben's 16th Birthday

I asked Ru yesterday what he wanted for his special birthday breakfast. He chose donuts. I was all set to go get him some, but Cab beat me to it, taking my car to the store long before Ruben got up. There is a special store that sells donuts somewhere but it remains a mystery. He also got Ruben a spectacular card. I got balloons, and party supplies.

The spectacular card is to the right of his computer. 

Cab and I had made a Costco trip on Monday and bought Ru a cheesecake, and before we left for the party I made strawberry sauce for it. It turned out okay. 

We had decided to have the party in Springfield, because Ru didn't have any friends available, so it would be a family party. We brought party supplies to Meza Luna Pizzeria in Springfield, and I think it was a good choice. 

Ruben is saving up for a new computer, so the only present he wanted or got was cash. He got a lot of it!
