Since the Shrewsbury Renaissance Faire falls on Sep 12-13 I thought I would just celebrate then. So get your tickets, its a close to a birthday party as I'll get. You can get a ticket at the gate, at the Shrewsbury Website, or through this half price deal from Groupon.
Sadly Fred had to reschedule his procedure (three times) and they can finally remove his kidney stones on Friday Sep 11. So he'll be home, and Ru would rather not go to the ren. faire, so he will be bringing Fred lemonade.
I wanted a new outfit (keeping up with the Brutons) so I spent some time sewing. I really enjoy sewing, because unlike when I shop, everything I make fits me perfectly, and its always flattering. Anyway, here is my new teal and rust outfit, about three quarters complete. If I have time I'll make a robins egg blue overskirt as well.
