We had a great nights sleep at the Red Lion in Redding. The room was huge, clean, and comfortable. We looked outside to find it was pouring rain. Oh well... At least the Easter Bunny managed to find us all the way in Redding.
The hotel breakfast buffet was great, and we packed up and checked out. Next stop was gas, the cheapest we could find was $3.69. We found our friend I-5 and headed north. Ruben has discovered he gets radio on his phone and has been rocking the back seat while Freddie and I have been listening to mambo all stars up front.
We got to Shasta about 10am but the mountain was covered with clouds and fog. Now we are cruising down the other side of the mountains on our way to Easter dinner with Mom and Jeff.
